MEET OUR PROFESSIONALS


P. MAJENGWA

MANAGING DIRECTOR

P. Majengwa is the Managing Director responsible for the overall management, strategic planning and achievement of all goals. Previously, he worked for the Ministry of Local Government & National Housing for seven years as a Design Engineer for various government projects around the country. He later moved on to join private construction companies (namely – P&M Construction, Twenty First Century Contractors and Dalmet Construction) where he worked firstly, as Project Manager and then Contracts Manager for ten years. In the private sector, he gained a lot of experience in interpretation and implementation of various designs into practice. He became the founding director of Pevimag in 1999 and has since overseen the innumerable successful projects that Pevimag Contractors has implemented since its inception.

F. PAKAMISA

OPERATIONS MANAGER

F. Pakamisa is the Operations Manager and has 18 years experience in the industry. He holds a Certificate in Surveying, Diploma in Building Technician City & Guilds, Building Technology and Building Economics from Harare Polytechnic and the Harare Institute of Technology respectively. Prior to joining Pevimag Contractors, he worked for Costain Africa and handled such projects as the following: Nandi Rupisi Road,Gokwe Siabua Road, Tobacco Sales Floor, Corner House, Gwenhoro Water Works (City Of Gweru), Agribank (Mvurwi), Zesa National Training Centre. He then joined Omega where he worked as Site Foreman; then Twenty First (Site Agent), followed by Authentic Engineering before he finally joined Pevimag Contractors as a Project Manager. He is assisted by Persuade Chipindu, Junior Operations Manager.

T.W. MUMBENGEGWI

FINANCE & ADMINISTRATION MANAGER

T. Mumbengegwi is the company Finance & Administration Manager and has over 10 years experience in Accounting, Finance, External Auditing, Corporate Finance, Corporate Recovery and Internal Auditing, acquired through employment in professional accounting firms, banking, high security printing and gold refining. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Accountancy (Honours) Degree from the University of Zimbabwe), an Honours Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree from the University of South Africa (UNISA), a Post Graduate Certificate in Theory of Accountancy (CTA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and ACCA.

L. T. MUTSIKWI

QUANTITY SURVEYOR | BUYING DEPARTMENT

L.T. Mutsikwi is the company Quantity Surveyor, assisted by Mr. N. Samuriwo. He is responsible for costing all prospective tenders and quotations for the organization. He is also in charge of the Buying Department controlling all stocks and delivery of new purchases. He prepares valuations and all requisite claims which may arise, chases certificates and subsequently receives payments. He is the holder of a National Diploma in Quantity Surveying obtained from Harare Polytechnic College and has been with Pevimag Contractors from his time of attachment in 2008 to date. He was responsible for tendering for such jobs as the Rekai Tangwena Children’s Home (Nyanga), TM Supermarkets (in Bulawayo, Mutoko & Makoni) and many other jobs which we were subsequently awarded. L.T. Mutsikwi is also responsible for the planning and running of all these projects from the tendering process to completion.

P. CHIPINDU

JUNIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER

P. Chipindu is the company Junior Operations Manager who assists F. Pakamisa. He has been in charge of most maintenance and new works for Delta Lagers, Zimbabwe College Of Music and Colcom Zimbabwe. P. Chipindu was also in charge at Delta Chibuku Harare Breweries Packaging Plant Extension works and hard standings.

N. SAMURIWO

ASSISTANT QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Mr. N. Samuriwo is the Assistant Quantity Surveyor to Mr. L.T. Mutsikwi and is the holder of a BSC Degree in Quantity Surveying obtained from NUST. He has been part of Pevimag Contractors since his time of attachment in 2010 to date, where he was responsible for tendering for the following and many other jobs which we were subsequently awarded: Delta Lagers CO² Room (Harare); Kingdom Bank (Chipinge); Plant Room for Barloworld Power at Delta Lagers (Harare / New works); Telecel Tower (Kanyemba & Utsiga / New works). He has also worked with Mr. L.T. Mutsikwi to tender for many small jobs on private houses and in the corporate world which were subsequently awarded.

M. B. HOVE assisted by T. D. HARRY

CIVIL ENGINEERS

M.B. Hove is the company Civil Engineer and is assisted by T. D. Harry. He obtained a B. Eng. Honours Engineering degree in Civil and Water Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology 2009. He trained as a Civil Engineer from June 2007 to June 2008 for SDP Africa, a civil engineering consultancy based in Harare, gaining useful experience in design and supervision of several projects including the NSSA-RTG Hotel in Beitbridge, the Africa Sun Corisco Hotel and Mongomo Hotel School both in the Equatorial Guinea. He then joined T.J Associates in June 2008 where he trained as a structural engineer and gained experience in Project Management, Structural Engineering Design, Detailing and Construction Supervision on such projects as the NSSA-RTG Beitbridge Hotel, Forbes Border Post Refurbishment, Public Services Commission Office Towers, Muzhongi Motors Workshops, Westlam Investments Shopping Complex amongst many other projects. He joined Pevimag Contractors in 2009 as a structural engineer and has gained additional practical experience in on many large-scale Pevimag construction projects.

C. PISE

MECHANICAL & TRASPORT DEPARTMENT

C. Pise is the company Chief Mechanic. He has been with the company since its inception and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the company plant, machinery and vehicles. In this he is assisted by junior staff members Beven Pise, Contrary Makore and Prince Majengwa.

He also oversees the transport department, which is a natural complement to his role as senior mechanic. The transport department is comprised of eight drivers and seven plant operators:
